I just wanted to place on record my delight at the work you recently undertook in my new apartment in Southport. Wybourne Gate was originally built in the late 1800’s and has been classified by Sefton Borough Council as “Grade 2 Listed”. It was originally the home of the notable Admiral Veron family before being converted into a Private School. It was bought by the developer Global Schematic and converted into six apartments. I purchased plot 1 in July 2025. Regrettably, the quality of the original “Lime Plaster” was to a poor quality of finish in both the ground floor cloakroom and to the bedroom three ceiling. As the developer had accepted a significant discount in the purchase price it had previously agreed that they would not undertake any remedial work to my new home. I subsequently wrote to Sefton Borough Council Heritage Team who provided me with a list of contractors who they approved of to work on Listed Buildings. Having spent some time on the internet by way of research, I soon established that your previous client base held you in very high esteem. Your quote for the work was initially a little higher than I may have expected but I significantly under estimated how involved the work was to re-plaster the two rooms, how much preparation was required and the time you spent ensuring that when you finished your work it was impossible to tell that a “wet trade” had been in to my home. The quality of your work is probably to the highest standard that I have experienced having spent 40 years in housebuilding management and 25 of those years as Construction Director for national Home Builders including Persimmon Homes where I currently work. In summary the quality of your work, your customer service and communication skills ensured I was also a very satisfied customer
